The Dulux Design Service was launched to address the demand for accessible and affordable interior design advice in the home. Headed up by interior design celebrity, Marianne Shillingford, the service offers the homeowner the chance to discuss their design ideas with a professional interior designer, who can draw up mood boards, source a fantastic range of fabrics, furniture, lighting, flooring, wallcoverings and décor and project manage suppliers and tradesmen, if required.
The main objectives of the media relations campaign were:
a. To build awareness of the Dulux Design Service brand across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and South Yorkshire
b. To generate enquiries for the Dulux Design Service team of interior designers
Over a six month press relations campaign, press releases and articles were sent out to newspapers and lifestyle magazines across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. Press releases focused on the benefits of the service, as well as the leading interior design trends for 2008, such as Hope, Envy and Hidden Beauty. Coverage was secured in a wide range of publications including the Nottingham Evening Post Property Supplement, Countryside La Vie and Profile magazine.
The press relations campaign was part of the overall launch marketing campaign being handled by Nottingham-based full service marketing agency DiVersity. DiVersity partnered with Visionforce to bring this exciting new service to market, on behalf of their client.
"Really well done".
